Hi, my name is Bingo, and I always have a smile on my face because I know that my big brother,Chessie, and I are the luckiest mutts in town.  Chessie spent most of his early years chained up to a tree on a rural mountain property, where he never went indoors, was seldom visited by anyone, and had to use all of his energy to stay warm in the cold winter months.  I was found wandering around lost somewhere in El Paso, Texas, and eventually made my way to a shelter here in Denver.  That's  where my new, wonderful family found me!  I was abused in my past life, so I still get somewhat scared around other dogs or people.  My big brother has really helped me to regain my confidence, as I know he is always there to protect me when I'm afraid.  We're the luckiest because we both finally found a family who loves us as much as we love them - if that's even possible.  Some folks say we've won the "dog lottery" - I don't know if that's true, but we have certainly won a BINGO!
